Premier College Intern Program (PCIP)
Premier College Intern Program (PCIP) are for those with or approaching a degree in the following fields:
- Engineering
- Computer Science
- Operations Research Analysis
- Psychology
- Physical Sciences
We are seeking current undergraduate and graduate students to be trained in Science & Engineering (S&E) to fill positions around the country. Scientists and engineers play a central role in maintaining Air Force superiority in air, space, and cyberspace. We are working on the cutting edge of research and development in advanced Air Force laboratories and dedicated facilities around the country. We develop, deliver, test, and sustain war-winning capabilities.
Civilian Air Force Engineers are responsible for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of the Air Force’s largest installations.
This is not a military position. Civilian Engineers are critical members of our team, providing the diverse expertise and leadership needed to secure our nation’s defense. Students will serve a 10-12 week Paid Internship during Summer , gaining exposure to, and experience We are seeking current undergraduate and graduate students to be trained in the Civil Engineering (CE) disciplines. The Air Force Civil Engineering Career Field encompasses a variety of occupations beyond traditional civil engineering, including architects, realty specialists, housing managers, environmental professionals, financial managers, biologists, firefighters, electricians, and more. These CE professionals are responsible for the Air Force’s largest weapon system — its installations. As critical members of our team, CEs provide diverse expertise and leadership needed to secure our nation’s defense. During your PCIP internship, you will work shoulder to shoulder with current AFCS Civilian Engineers on challenging and rewarding projects, where you will make real contributions and gain invaluable real-world experience. As a Premier College Intern, you may qualify for a permanent full-time position in our PALACE Acquire (PAQ) program once you complete your degree.
