2022 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS)
Visit their website for more information.
For 20 years, the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) – recipient of the 2019 AIMBE Excellence in STEM Education Award – has been the go-to conference for underrepresented community college, undergraduate and postbaccalaureate students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. As ABRCMS has continued to grow and evolve, it has also become a space for graduate students, postdocs, faculty, program administrators and more.
That’s why we’re excited to share that ABRCMS is now the Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minoritized Scientists – a name change that reflects the community we support. As we look toward the next 20 years, ABRCMS will continue to welcome and nurture underrepresented scientists at various stages of their professional and educational journeys.
Plan to join us for ABRCMS 2022, taking place in-person, Nov. 9-12 in Anaheim, Calif. Can’t make it in-person? ABRCMS 2022 will also feature a virtual component so you can still participate in this dynamic event.
Abstract Submission is Open!
Abstract submission for ABRCMS 2022 is now open. Share your latest, cutting-edge research and get ready to present your science to esteemed and established researchers from universities across the country.
Plus, this year, ABRCMS is offering the option of submitting an oral or poster abstract to be presented at the in-person conference or an ePoster abstract to be presented virtually on Nov. 12. The abstract submission process and requirements are the same for in-person posters and virtual ePosters. Virtual ePoster presenters must pay the registration fee for virtual attendance; however, registration waivers are available.
