Here at St. Mary’s University Career and Professional Development Center, we work hard to support students from all backgrounds.
While there are many laws that prohibit discrimination based on gender or sexuality, there are still many questions and concerns that the StMU community may have when navigating the job search, such as “will I be supported as a non-binary person within this company?” “what types of support (employee resource groups, for example) will I need from my employer?” or “will I be able to speak outwardly about my partner/s and family at my workplace?”
The Career Center is a place where you can navigate these questions, bring your full self, and find resources to utilize when entering the workforce.
