The CAU Class Assistant provides academic support for Cornell Adult University’s (CAU) summer program from July 1, 2024 through July 21, 2024. This position will fill in for other summer staff as needed and will occasionally be assigned other duties.
Academic support depends upon specific instructors, but responsibilities may include:
Communicating with CAU directors and specific faculty
Setting up classrooms
Assisting instructors with classroom support (distribution of supplies, cleaning utensils, collecting supplies);
Supporting/Troubleshooting AV/technology needs
Transportation and support for field trips
Setting up and cleaning up classroom breaks;
Other academic assistance as assigned by instructors.
Required Qualifications:
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must obtain have Risk Management approval to drive Cornell Fleet vehicles.
Pay Rate:
$22.60/hr
