WorldTech IT is excited to announce our Women In Cybersecurity scholarship!
WorldTech IT’s Women in Cybersecurity Scholarship strives to foster opportunities for women in the cybersecurity field. Women make up approximately 20% of the cybersecurity workforce worldwide, leaving much room for improvement. By encouraging women to a career in cybersecurity, we are able to fill staffing gaps and open the doors to new talent and new perspectives. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to 2 students, with the intent of helping them gain real-world experience in the field and pave the way to success.
Scholarship Requirements
To apply, students must meet ALL of the following requirements:
✔ A US citizen, national, or permanent resident
✔ A female student in their junior or senior year of college
✔ Pursuing a career in cybersecurity or a related field
✔ In good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
