Responsibilities
Manufacturing engineers are responsible for developing the processes or work methods required to produce and test our semiconductor capital equipment products. The manufacturing engineer develops, implements, and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Responsibilities include:
- Interface with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of new products
- Estimate manufacturing costs
- Determine time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements
- Develop design methods and parameters, project methodology and/or project proposals
- Develop and use test procedures
- Participate in the preparation of concept and feasibility studies
- Gather operational and test data and evaluates results
- Evaluate work methods, procedures and policies
Requirements
- Graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Good academic standing with a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
- Able to solve problems creatively and analytically with a strong attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable mindset who thrives in a results-driven culture
- Leadership skills who takes initiative
- An appetite in growing a career in the semiconductor industry
- Legally authorized to work in US without future sponsorship
