The Day @ St. Mary’s brings leading employers directly to campus for a day of meaningful engagement, career exploration, and professional development. Students gain unparalleled access to company leaders, recruiters, and alumni, allowing them to explore workplace culture, learn about career pathways, and discover opportunities for internships and employment.
Through networking sessions, employer panels, and interactive conversations, participants can build valuable connections while gaining insight into the skills and experiences needed for career success. More than a recruiting event, Day @ St. Mary’s provides students with a tailored look at organizations and helps them make decisions about their future careers.

Trek2DC started in 2024 to connect current St. Mary’s students with alumni and career opportunities in Washington, D.C. While our nation’s capital is widely known as the center of government, it is also home to leading organizations in business, healthcare, communications, public service, non-profit leadership, technology, and countless other industries.
Through Trek2DC, students gain firsthand exposure to career pathways while building meaningful connections with St. Mary’s alumni. Participants engage in site visits, professional development, and networking events that provide valuable insight into internships, jobs, and graduate school opportunities.
“It was such an incredible experience that helped me find more direction in where I want to go with my career, and opened my eyes to many opportunities!”
