Our BFI Scholars program is designed to cultivate the next generation of leaders through immersive, real-world projects. Participants engage in areas like data science, software development, policy design, and community research, working on impactful projects such as the 311SA App, South Texas Triangle research, and the Better Futures Series. It’s an excellent chance for students to apply their knowledge, develop new skills, and contribute to building sustainable and resilient communities.
Civic Tech Scholars internship program provides a unique opportunity to engage with the convergence of data science, software development, policy design, and community research. Through this program, participants explore how digital systems multiply across the urban landscape to learn how data can help inform how we manage and plan cities.
