Southwest Research Institute is one the oldest and largest non-profit, applied research and development organizations, dedicated to pursuing innovation while benefiting humanity, since 1947. Our campus, located in San Antonio, on 1500 acres of state-of-the-art facilities and lab space to create and design in, and includes an on-site fitness center, cafeteria, medical clinic, library, and credit union. We have more than 2600 staff members and work on 4000+ projects PER year including our own internal R&D, https://www.swri.org/work-us/internal-rd. In our Defense Intelligence/Solutions Divisionhttps://www.swri.org/industries/cyber-security, we support the United States and its allies by conducting research in direction finding, surveillance, geolocation, and tracking. We integrate electronics and cyber technology for the aerospace and defense community with expertise in electronic warfare systems, software development, systems engineering and evaluation.

If you were interested in learning more about our Machine Learning initiatives. We were recently awarded a R&D 100 award for a smart gas detection leak system.
